Take it with a grain of salt

Here are a few of the books/authors I base my point of views off of:

What to Eat by Marion Nestle (she has a great blog site as well)

The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan

Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon (this one has some very, VERY extreme health views. Tread wisely.)

Bake Your Own Bread and Be Healthier by Floss and Stan Dworkin (what a concept for a book title! haha. This is a great beginners bread baking book. VERY simple and informative. It was published in the 70's. You can probably only find it at a Half Price or used bookstore.)

Dr. Weston Price (his ground-breaking, culture defying research is excellent stuff. He's got a bible of a book- "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration-A Comparison of Primitive and Modern Diets and Their Effects". Most of the authors listed above started their journey with his stuff. Again, pretty extreme but excellent findings. Very intriguing.)

More to come...
